Bag is well-made and appears to be durable, however it is not nearly as dark as the seller’s photo shows. Reference other’s review pictures as well. I’m not decided on whether I’ll keep or return.The leather is very durable and flawless. Beautiful. Seams are very tightly constructed Zippers are smooth and made for years of wear. I gave it as a gift. My good friend was sincerely pleased with it. The price was what I expected to be fair for a quality leather bag. When I saw it was made in the USA, that was my selling point. Quality American made.This bag is made of nice rich and sturdy leather. Definitely heavy and durable. And it looks great too.This is a very, very nice bag. A good size (24”). The leather is quite thick. A sturdy bag. It has a slightly distressed look but overall a good color. Nice interior pockets. I would highly recommend.I will start with Wow! My first impression is that this bag is of high quality. You could easily spend hundreds of dollars to get a bag like this. It's style is straight forward. It's unbranded which I like. I've gone over this bag with a fine toothed comb and cannot find any issues with it's construction. The stitching, the color, the symmetry , the hardware all is spot on. I gave it a 4 for travel as it's most likely too large for a carry on and the fact that I have not yet used it for traveling.The leather is really nice quality leather. The pockets inside and out are perfect for packing small items. Overall for the price this is a great duffel bag.My nephew received his bag for his first trip home from college. It is beautiful, the right size and simply amazing. Gorgeous leather and workmanship and so much better compared to the IKEA sack he had been using. It is sturdy and well designed for a man on the “go”. The bag fits an amazing amount of things and travels well. The small feet on the bottom make it especially helpful in that the leather does not sit directl on the floor.We will definitely look into other Texbo products as needed!!!High quality and durable, I love this traveling bag. It looks new when you first get it in the mail. It starts to "patina" once you begin to use it. It gets more beautiful with each use. I look for reasons & opportunities to use it, because that's what makes it more beautiful and unique (business and pleasure trips). One thing to keep in mind is, if you plan on using this bag as a "hand luggage or personal item luggage" while travelling by air, don't pack the bag full or it won't fit in the overhead compartment in the plane (mid-size passenger plane). Keep that in mind.I had been looking for a durable and attractive bag of these dimensions for a long time at a price I could afford. This was what I had nearly given up hope of finding in the market place. I use it to store and transport ceremonial items that have great value to me and that deserve to be shown the respect that this kind of bag represents. While other light-weight bags might have met the functional needs I had, this bag did that and added a timeless class that I really appreciate.I am re-reviewing this product to 4.5 stars ! - Customer service contacted me for the issue and made it right ! He was very pleased with the purchase. It is a great vintage duffel bag from Texbo. It's absolutely stunning, and is extremely high-end. (I love the color.) The material is super smooth, the zipper is high quality, and the bag itself feels extremely durable. He can carry enough in it for the entire week, and is actually comfortable to carry. It has taken quite a beating from car to trunk to airplane under the seat or in the overhead compartment, but still looks brand new. No issues from flight crews about size and weight either. If you're skeptical about buying a travel bag online, don't be. I am so glad that I aquired this bag from Amazon!!I ordered the Texbo Leather Travel Bag (Large) as a gift for a family member, and I am truly pleased with my purchase. The bag is well crafted and better looking in person than in photos. The stitching and zipper are both solid, and the leather has weight to it. Unzipped the bag opens up wide enough that packing or finding items is easy, and the shoulder strap is comfortable. The bag is the perfect size for a short trip, and just what the gift receiver was hoping for.
