These are definitely a cut above my Birkenstocks in terms of comfort and appearance. Very pleased with fit, style and foot support. Insole is indented in all the right places so I get great arch support, though this may not be so for everyone. Straps are adjustable, which is helpful as one of my feet is wider than the other. I wear them indoors in winter instead of slippers but when the weather was warm, I wore them out (with jeans) and got a lot of (unexpected) compliments. Priced appropriately for a well-made, good quality shoe. Very pleased.
