This fin is too stiff to provide propulsion. I got it to fit in my suitcase because my dive fins are so long. It was like having some plywood duck taped to my foot. I am a triathlete and strong swimmer with 20 years diving experience. In a current I could not keep up with a inexperienced grandma wearing snorkeling fins. Much smaller fins than I had on.I can note recommend these for diving, and there are better choices for snorkeling.They are actually heavier than I expected. My full foot fins are lighter.Great travel fins. Much lighter and easier to pack than any of my other open-heal fins.Used on 21 warm-water dives so far and I am pleased.Great fins. Light and very responsive.
